LAUNCHED! đ BEAVERTOWN X SCRUFF OF THE NECK: NEW SONIC SESSIONS
Thursday saw the first of our monthly âNew Sonic Sessionsâ at Lost Cat, a new music showcase collaboration between Beavertown & Scruff of the Neck in the heart of Manchesterâs Northern Quarter.
Body Water, Lower Loveday and Pentire took to the stage to deliver sets to a ram packed audience. News of Juneâs lineup and some other exciting events are soon to be announced, so keep your eyes peeled đ

We headed down to Brighton and took over our usual spot âThe Sidewinderâ to bring you some of the most exciting artists that we work with - Shelter Boy, Manilla Times and Shambolics đ„
Not only that, we teamed up with Press On and Dance to the Radio to give away a limited edition run of super exclusive vinyl, featuring acts from showcase collaborators and friends of Press On.

We are excited to reveal that one of our event partners, Press On Vinyl have orchestrated a small limited edition and exclusive vinyl record away on Thursday at the collaborative showcase featuring acts from Scruff of the Neck, Dance to the Radio and friends of Press On.
Pick up 'The Northern Press' at Sidewinder from midday along with a free tote bag by showing your delegate pass, and if you are an artist or label interested in pressing vinyl, Press On will give you an exclusive discount with the plant!
There will be a further 50 free vinyl released just before Dance to the Radio (4:30pm) and Scruff of the Neck (7:30pm) showcases so get there early for each takeover!

BEAVERTOWN X SCRUFF OF THE NECK
Beavertown Brewery and Scruff of the Neck team up to bring a monthly free entry series to the heart of Manchester, showcasing an absolutely first rate, finger-on-the-pulse selection of talent from around the UK.
âGamma Ray Presents: New Sonic Sessionsâ
The sounds of tomorrow, the people of now. A chance to explore cutting-edge sounds and make new friends, all fuelled by downright excellent beers from Beavertown Brewery. The well established London showcase has alumni such as Talk Show, English Teacher, DITZ, Buzzard Buzzard Buzzard and Highschool, to name a few, you can be sure to see the best in up-and-coming indie, rock and punk, without even having to fork out a penny.
The events will take place every last Thursday of the month and are scheduled right into 2025. The chosen venue is âLost Catâ on Oldham Street in Manchesterâs famous Northern Quarter. APOLLO JUNCTION IN LEEDS: 1,000 TICKETS
Apollo Junction announce their biggest headline gig to date at Leeds Beckett University on Saturday 26th October 2024.
Described by Steve Lamacq as swaggering electro-indie rock, Apollo Junction appeal to audiences who have a profound love of guitar music, with nods to the iconic sounds of the 80s. The last year has seen their live show taken to the next level, with huge sell out shows at iconic venues across the country such as the Brudenell Social Club, Hebden Bridgeâs Trades Club and Camden Assembly in London.
