Lost SymphonyTM is a meeting somewhere between classical bombast, heavy metal, and cinematic storytelling that does not adhere to one specific genre, but create a story of its own. Benny Goodman (composer, guitars, piano) had always wanted to combine his love for classical composition and virtuoso level playing with the intensity of rock. Along with his twin brother Brian Goodman, Benny composed compositions which he later recruited his favorite players to lend their talents to. From those first tests of musical camaraderie came the beginnings of Lost Symphony and a new sound defined only by those who play it.
With the help of the late Oli Herbert, Benny reached out to Bumblefoot, Satchel, Jeff Loomis, Marty Friedman, Nuno Bettencourt, Angel Vivaldi, Jon Donais, Siobhan Cronin, and many others, a musical archetype was born. Classical compositions sent around the world to musical influencers in their own rights to add their talents within the confines of the Goodman's compositions.
