Love For The Hoodbabies

Hi, We’re The Hoodbabies, a YouTube family channel from Atlanta. One of the main reasons for us going so hard on YouTube was to get us in the position to move into a house together. Last August, we started renting out a property and have had problems with the property and landlord ever since. Plenty of things have gone unfixed, even though we were given dates for them to be fixed. The most recent issue was plumbing, which we have been dealing with since we moved in as well. The ceilings downstairs started to leak a lot and the bathrooms on the main floor started to flood. Plumbers were sent to unclog the toilets and not fix the leaks. After unclogging the toilets didn’t stop the problem, the landlord stated that it was our problem and he was no longer responsible. Despite needing his information to even be able to try to see if we could get it fixed ourselves, we were left for 3 days dealing with the floods and leaks with no communication from the landlord. So, we could not take showers or use the restrooms in the home for 5 days and counting. During this time, we finally got open some closets we have been asking the landlord to open during our entire stay. We found out the closets were trashed and rat or squirrel-infested. We have been asking the landlord to bring an exterminator because of sounds in the wall since we moved in. We have pictures and videos of proof. We have never missed paying rent. After seeing this, we filed a formal complaint with the code of conduct. Shortly after on the same day, we received an eviction that we have to leave in 7 days due to this situation and multiple lease violations that are just now being expressed even though they were known and some are completely false. Anything donated would be greatly appreciated and will go towards our lawyer fees and moving. We thank you guys for supporting us. We love y’all!
