Thane Gaming

Hey everyone! A little bit about myself: I'm 27 and I've loved Nintendo since I first picked up a SNES controller at age four. My YouTube channel, Thane Gaming is my passion project and a culmination of everything I love: video games, script writing, and Photoshop. It's a creative outlet that keeps me going through the grind of everyday life, and it’s been my dream to one day make a true business out of this. Balancing full-time work outside of producing these videos, while maintaining an upload schedule has always been the biggest challenge. Not counting the time it takes to finish and record each game I cover, I would guess that every video takes at least 30 hours to complete. That's: <ul><li>6 hours researching the topic and writing the script. I’ll scavenge the internet for interviews, obscure info, or anything else I find interesting about the game! I am meticulous in fact-checking, but will read/rewrite the script countless times to cut out anything that isn’t entertaining.</li><li>3 hours for audio recording/editing. Rereading, de-noising, and splicing to give a concise voiceover free of excess. The rest is selecting and balancing background music with any other sound effects that’ll be in the video!</li><li>20+ for everything else, mainly video edits using Adobe Premiere- merging my recordings with heavy photoshop to make sure it’s a fun watch from beginning to end. I often need additional footage (commercials, documentaries, ads) of whatever I’m covering, so I’ll always seek out its highest possible quality for preservation’s sake. Once it’s done, lots of work goes into post-production too- like polishing up the transcription and actually promoting the video.</li></ul> Whether my content will resonate with you or not is pretty subjective, but I can assure that whatever you find on my channel will be of quality. The time invested and my obsessive drive guarantees it! To maintain these high standards, and lessen time between uploads- I ask for your support.
