</blockquote>Something about music is transcendental. For me, it’s the union of everything I love about art, beauty and humanity. How an album’s artwork is meant to portray the entire essence of a larger body of work. The poetry and storytelling in lyrics bears our deepest emotions, experiences and beliefs. And of course the auditory experience that it’s all surrounded by is something our senses get lost in and clearly impacts us on a psychological level. There is so much great and unique music being made today and many people, including myself, will never hear it all. The majority of others simply don’t look for new music outside of the few artists that happen to crop up on their radar. But I’m not one of those people. I’m always actively listening to new music and searching for the cutting edge in the medium. Middle 8 looks to better the human listening experience by diving into an artist or album that’s significantly different from a lot of what is out there. I post weekly journals walking listeners through my thoughts and feelings around great music that deserves more attention. - Frank frank@middle8.tv
