Been watching for about 18 months. Originally it was just a channel amongst many that I watched / listened to. Over time it has become one I seek out through the subscription button. Why? Because 1) the content is regularly something I am interested in; and 2) I discover more music from someone whose taste is not a million miles from my own. Thank you John. Really appreciate your efforts with the channel.

John this is what I like about you, You are up front and have been since day one. You have what you do and don't do many times so the people who have subscribed to you for a while know this. Keep being yourself and true to yourself and what you do. I like your prospective, it's real and you come across the same way. I like both your channel and your website and I wish you much success in 2020 and thanks again for the prospective. I'm open to new music and John has made this possible and probably music that I wouldn't have known about or listen to.

Hi John. As a Jazz and Classical musician (Bass Trombone!), I still get much from your videos! The budget parameters are those of my own equipment, and purchases I'm contemplating, . so keep up the good work. Indeed I thoroughly enjoy much of the background music to your videos, and to that end I will be looking at the information you provide. One comment I, and many like me would mention, is the definition of sound - separation of instruments, and enough definition to be able to hear the difference between a bass guitar, and a string bass, for example. I appreciate very much when your comments relate to this aspect! I will continue to listen, even if you don't play Stravinsky!

Thanks John, for doing these videos! In fact, I purchased the Schiit Audio Modi 3 DAC based on the video you did regarding this component. It sounds so good in my system that I am having a difficult time justifying spending more - seriously! I like how you do these videos and I find them interesting, even if I have no intention of purchasing what piece you are reviewing.

The start of your video tells it all and shows clearly the reason why I follow your channel. Weāre not talking about āthe bestā, we talk about good gear, about opinions and points of your. These are things that we can share, diffuse, compare. Everyoneās out for the absolute best of the best. I think sometimes starting with good things, discovering your own preferences is way better than spending a life in search of the best. Thank you for the job you share and the great contribution you give to the audiophile community John

Hi John, good to see you back in 2020. As someone who went shopping last year for my full system replacement since 1996, I enjoyed listening to your reviews and perspective. I live in an isolated part of New Zealand and just don't have access to audition, let alone AB test any gear. Your descriptions of what items sound like are vivid and fun so thanks for that, keep it up.
