For demoknight the move speed reduction is more active and the upside of extra damage doesn't mean as much other than always one hit KO a soldier with a crit without shield bash, but other swords actually give you a buff on kill which the scotsman doesn't, so its rather questionable of a choice, especially since the downsides of the other
