This speed made it possible to study the atomic bomb. Bomb test from Operation Upshot-Knothole 1953Credit: Wikipedia. Rotary prism camera technology has advanced greatly, yet it is rarely used in filmmaking for the ultra-slow motion moments like we sometimes saw in Nolan's mind-bending Inception. When it comes to bombs, they usually go off too fast to see the explosion.

Yes I agree pyro looks much better on film. But most pyro is just fine at 240fps as well. Even miniature pyro. As for digital. Phantom hasn't updated their sensor in years. It's still the best of the high speed capture. But not as good as film. I am hopeful that does get updated or another company makes a sensor that can handle high speed well.

If I watch a 150 minute movie in 0.25x, how long will it be?

https://www.reddit.com/r/askmath/comments/qzb0qz/if_i_watch_a_150_minute_movie_in_025x_how_long/
In general, if you have a movie L minutes long and you want to watch it as Sx speed (so S=1 means normal speed, S=0.5 means half-speed, S=0.25 means quarter-speed, S=2 means double speed, etc.), then the number of minutes for the viewing will be equal to L/S.. So you in your case, L = 150 minutes and S = 0.25, so you divide: 150/0.25 = 600 minutes = 10 hours.

Oppenheimer then proceeds to walk to Einstein to talk about what was later revealed to be their fears of world annilhalion. This puts them both in a somber or sour mood, and when Strauss approached them, Einstein walks away scowling and didn't even look at Strauss. This led Strauss to believe that Oppenheimer mocked him behind his back to Einstein.

Oppenheimer - Plugged In

https://www.pluggedin.com/movie-reviews/oppenheimer-2023/
Oppenheimer paints a bleak picture of the future of humanity. But let's be clear: A bleak worldview isn't why Nolan's latest drama has an R-rating. That's where the content comes in. For a film set primarily during World War II, the violence of the bomb is only hauntingly hinted at here. Jean Tatlock's suicide by drowning should also

Review: Oppenheimer | Explosive technique, minimal impact

https://reelgood.com.au/reviews/review-oppenheimer-2023/
However, the film lives and dies to the extent that it provides a convincing portrait of Oppenheimer as a human being - and here, despite all the skill and tact you would expect from the brilliant Cillian Murphy, the film simply doesn't work. What struck me about Oppenheimer was how, even with its three-hour runtime, the film still felt rushed.

Christopher Nolan's Oppenheimer - Rotten Tomatoes

Billboards and movie theater pop-ups across Los Angeles have been ticking down for months now: Christopher Nolan's epic account of J. Robert Oppenheimer, the father of the atomic bomb, is nearing an explosive release on July 21, 2023. Nolan movies are always incredibly secretive, twists locked alongside totems behind safe doors, actors not spilling an ounce of Earl Grey tea.

Firstly, Oppenheimer should've followed up his iconic "I am become death" line with "Erm, that sounded a lot better in my head πŸ˜…" Secondly, Truman should've turned to the camera and said "Yep, I just did that" before winking after telling Oppenheimer about the bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

Oppenheimer (2023) β€” The Movie Database (TMDB)

'Oppenheimer' lived up to the billing to me. Not that that was ever really in any doubt, with Christopher Nolan at the helm and Cillian Murphy in lead alongside all the acclaim that I have seen this receive since its 2023 release.
