For me it would be Dusk Lobbers in the back column and putting Moonflowers in the column in front of them. Basically just stripes. For me it depends on how many columns I plan on using. 3: 2 Moonflowers on the second and fourth row, second column. 4: 4 Moonflowers on the second and fourth row, second and third column.

You might want to be a little more careful in lanes 1 and 5 though as they are the ones that receive less damage from a full column of dusk lobbers (i.e. they only get covered by dusk lobbers in lanes 1-2 and 4-5 respectively) Boards. When powered it throws out multiple explosive buds across 3 lanes. So I recommend placing it around Moonflowers (Another plant you receive in Modern Day)

Here are a few reasons why Dusk Lobber is the strongest non-premium plant in the entire game: Has splash attacks, so loses no usefulness as zombie density increases. Can damage all five lanes when powered and planted in the center row. Is a catapult plant, so can damage zombies that counter straight-shot plants like Shovel Zombie and Barrel Zombie.
