I was playing Earthbound on my Wii U and was really close to finishing it. I started the battle with Giygas and got to the third phase of the battle. I abused the Wii U emulator and saved every turn so if something went wrong I would just reload from the last saved point (seriously, this game is literally impossible without this feature).

Here's How the Final Boss Went for Me. I find it ironic that it explicitly says that Giygas will be defeated by Ness, yet Paula ends up being the one to make the call and finish the job. So technically, the prophecy was wrong. I just slammed Poo and Jeff with PSI Healings and let Paula, who was numb at the moment, pray as much as she could.

Levels doesn't really matter with final boss fight of MOTHER 1, the minimum you can beat the game (without using glitches) is Level 25 with Ninten anyways, by that point Ninten and Ana should have already learned PSI Defense Up, PSI Shield, and Life Up π for Giygas battle anyways
