Michelin CrossClimate2 should be fine for most people in mainland US if you want a generic answer. I went with Continental Viking Contact 7 winter tires. Will swap them out seasonally with the stock 19's. They're not any louder than the stock tires and the ride is smoother on 18's. The should do very well in snow.
