I just switched to ow2 and the matchmaking isn't the greatest there either but at least you can have multiple good games in an hours time vs in apex, going hours of just getting dunked on. I honestly don't give a fuck what content they release next season. If the matchmaking isn't fixed, I'm deleting the game... All my friends already quit anyways.

As things stand in Apex Legends, that just isn't possible. Not everyone has a squad to play with. These players are forced to team up with randoms — whether they like it or not. And as all Apex Legend players know, the matchmaking experience can be cruel. Solo droppers, quitters, and griefers are all too common.

Unless you count completing the free battle pass for a couple years to get 1800 AC to buy a single legendary event skin (and that's if it is an event that lets you choose what skin to buy), then your statement just isn't true. There have been plenty of events that did not allow you to use crafting materials at all as well.

If you don't have the competitive edge to want to devote yourself to this game, it isn't for you and that's OK. This is just what it is. This is probably the best way to put it. The devotion to get constantly wrecked and slowly improving along the way. Some people don't want to do it or just don't have time for it.

Super high skill gap legend that a top player can do nutty stuff with but also isn't that useful if you aren't creative/aggressive in how you play.
