Final Thoughts: Yugioh 5DS was an absolutely incredible show with countless gripping duels and real character struggles and consequent development throughout the show being something that I really enjoyed. While there was that one dud of an arc before the WRGP, I still enjoyed the show throughout and would watch it again for sure.

It's up there with one of the best yugioh series where if the card game never existed it would still be a solid anime on its own. 5D's is a top tier Yu-Gi-Oh arc. Just finished it last night and was so surprised at how good it was. The final boss battle had Dragon Ball Z levels of over the top and I was all for it.

For my money, Yugioh 5Ds is the last incredible Yugioh series. It even wraps up the anime trilogy timeline perfectly through the Bonds Beyond Time movie, which along with Duel Monsters and GX comprises the perfect canon (and conveniently allows me to dismiss the series after it, which I hate). 5Ds is an incredible series, but unlike Duel Monster which is a 10/10 and GX which is an 11/10, I

4 Love: Incan Mythology. Since the beginning, Yu-Gi-Oh! has had some strong ties to ancient Egypt, since in the universe's lore the Millenium Items and Duel Monsters' origin originated from there. Rarely does the series ever stray into a different kind of mythology, but 5D's had different plans.

Episode 151: Converging Wishes. Everything in Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's happened because of Z-one. Iliaster manipulated Roman into causing Zero Reverse, Z-one's friend Paradox caused Yu-Gi-Oh! 3D Bonds Beyond Time to happen, and his other friends, Aporia and Antinomy, shaped most of the second season.

The 5D's Starter Deck also has some nifty cards you can't get more of until later like Junk Synchron, Quillbolt Hedgehog, Level Warrior and Junk Destroyer. Personally, I recommend opening Dark Beginning 1, Dark Beginning 2, and Synchro Awakens. Here's a sample decklist I was running at the start of chapter 3.

5DS was incredible, my absolute favorite yugioh show! ... basic character arcs, and absolutely atrocious duels. Almost every duel in that show is a crime. "Let's just summon my boss monster and sit on it". Yuma being at the centre didn't help either ... yu gi oh 5ds aka yu gi oh at his peak it was near perfection every character had their

It's also one of the more visually striking series, with its bright color palette and stylish CG animation, and the soundtrack in the Japanese version is absolutely incredible. Yu-Gi-Oh! ARC-V. Yu-Gi-Oh! ARC-V shook things up when it released, with the frankly bizarre approach to Pendulum Summoning. Not only did it differ from past summoning

5D's is worth watching. It is the best series since Takahashi's original manga ended. Watch it subbed and it's absolutely amazing the whole way through. Not even just good by Yu-Gi-Oh standards but good just by general anime standards, subbed 5Ds slaps hard.

The first season of the anime show Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's consists of 26 episodes, and follows Yusei Fudo as he escapes from Satellite, and learns about his destiny as a Signer. The season uses two pieces of theme music; the opening theme is 'Kizuna' by Kra whilst the ending theme is 'Start' by Masataka Nakagauchi. It is known as the Signers Arc in Japan, and the Fortune Cup Duels in the US.

This is my hate thread for yugioh 5ds, which explains why it is the worst yugioh. Agree or disagree, but feel free to post your opinions here! Anyways onto the explanation. Most people say yugioh 5ds is the best series because it is "mature" and "dark" when i say it is the least mature an dark of any yugioh anime.

It still gives me chills to this day. Class conflict, dystopia, occultism and secret societies, betrayal, an atmosphere tense as fuck, main group of characters composed of adults and a protagonist that rides his bike to escape the cops on the slums. Apart from the card game, this description doesn't even remotely ressembles Yu-gi-oh.

When one looks over the three Yu-Gi-Oh shows largely helmed by Shin Yoshida, who took over 5Ds's series composition roundabout the end of the Fortune Cup arc, one sees a consistent pattern: the Big Three. You have a protagonist, the rival to the protagonist, and the protagonist's friend.

5D's has so many standout tracks, among the already famous ones like Yusei's Second Theme, Jack's Theme, Aki's theme, there are also many lesser known ones such as Legend of the Star People. This awesome track plays when the Crimson Dragon first appears in Episode 5 and masterfully crafts the atmosphere of its mystique.

Yugioh in general has a silly premise, 5d's just goes even further beyond. Yes, it's 100/100 worth watching. 2. CursedEye03. • 3 yr. ago. The "card games on motorcycles" are actually epic and really cool. Especially by the final of the arcs, but I don't want to spoil this.

People often forget this part from 5Ds, but Team Taiyo were far and away the most inspirational story in the whole of Yugioh. 3 Guys so poor, can barely afford one dual runner, let alone 3. So they have to share. But they still make it all the way to the finals.

Jack- The master of faster, the king jack atlas. Antinomy- The only other person to have a delta accel synchro monster. And that card is absolutely insane. Also vizor is just smart as hell in general, and would only lose to a main characters or people with totally broken decks. Crow- I love crow's deck personally.

5D's (the team one) was underwhelming. Anime/Manga. I am talking about the 5D's we see at WRGP. Their teamwork was abyssmal compared to the other teams. Team Unicorn had Andore sweeping, Breo exhausting resources and Jean cleaning up whats left of their team. Team Taiyo had 3 people working together and placing all their hopes on a single card.

I think with the recent announcement of the GX shadow duelists box. It could be possible to see a 5Ds box with the main cast etc. Then a 2nd with the dark signers and some other antagonists. The new GX box has broken away and includes characters that are not in Duel Links which is nice so there are many possibilities! 2.
