"The Hug" is an American live action short film from 2018, so still relatively new, and this one was written and directed by Jack Bishop and Justin Nijm. Not too much to say about the latter, who is not an experienced filmmaker at all, but Bishop has worked on many films in the past and most of these were Funny or Die short movies.
