As for the epoxy - everyone seems to have their favorites. I use West Systrem (105 resin, 206 hardener) quite a lot - the 206 hardener gives it a nice long open time. It will cure with a slight amber color though, but there is a hardener (207) that will cure clear if needed. I also use Alumilite Amazing Clear.
