These days, a lot of coffee shops only allow people to use laptops at one small communal table, they have a time limit for laptop use (e.g., no more than 2 hours), they don't have outlets, or they ban laptops altogether. I'd love to crowdsource to come up with a list of coffee shops that have wifi/outlets and allow unrestricted laptop use.
