Sorry also refers to general regret. A sorry state of affairs = a regretful situation. Sorry can also be 'regretfully'. Although the Dutch are generally a nice, friendly and inquisitive people , they are also very opinionated. They seem to be able to have thoughts on any subject and are unafraid to express them.
