Cheapo and late model and 'Combo microwave ovens' either have 1 (cheapo) or two Aluminium coils in the transformer. So no Copper.

in my experience the only thing remotely worth scrapping is copper. you can find copper in any wires (thicker the better) which you dont have to strip, yet some swear its worth it to do so. the best place for copper is appliances like that AC you have. if you have a skil-saw and dont mind sweating you can cut the copper tubing off of the back-side and put that in a pile with any cords/wires
