Here's what I do: I sing and play rhythm guitar live. My son plays bass live. I bounce tracks to WAV, minus bass, rhythm guitars and main vocals. I rack the backing tracks up in a media player. I do have a tablet on stage with me that connects to my PA via Bluetooth.
