Well, I am not German and it was my first day. I'm the only non-German in that department. There's this German-Portuguese girl and there is also one African-American-German guy that can pretty much pass. But both raised in Germany with German mothers. I actually heard recently the Hollisters in Germany tell their employees to say "Hey what's up" and stuff like that in English to everyone who enters the store to make it more "American". I thought this was hilarious, since as an American, I don't really consider Hollister that "American". I mean, people wear it, I see it. It's meh.

Like there is no ATM around that belongs to your bank so you have to pay 6(!!!) to use some Sparkasse. I like living in Germany and I enjoy the lifestyle but if there was one thing I could change it would probably be this (or the slow/fast internet thing - it's not 2001 anymore people).
