Was BFA Really as Bad as People Remember?? - YouTube

Was Battle For Azeroth really as bad as people remember? This is one of the few expansions that was universally hated for tons of reasons, however I think mo

I loved bfa for the most part, partially because of the dungeons specifically. Been playing since vanilla and I thought bfa was the best group of dungeons we've had for an xpac. No nonsense gimmicks (apart from Sethraliss, screw that place) and genuinely challenging fights. BFA Keystone master season 4 was the most fun ive had dungeoning in wow.

BfA was super weird because of the horde/alliance split. I made my first undead in TBC and haven't played alliance since, so I'm really a lost case there. It was super strange that there were pretty awesome designed zones again in kultiras but I had absolutely no damn clue about what's going on there.

BfA has some fun content, but for me the most important thing is really really bad this expansion: class design. None of my classes just feel fun anymore, I thought Legion took away too much but this is just insane. Island Expeditions and Warfronts are not exactly fun content either, I avoided doing them as much as possible.

bfa was bad because it came off the heels of the greatest expansion wow had seen in almost 10 years. bfa had titanforging i liked that. 1 Like. The strong points of current blizz is raid design, zones, music and art. Unfortunately BFA seems to be an expansion with an aggressive tactic of keep you logged in no matter what with zero hint of fun involved. Another poster put it best by saying logging in for 8.3 content feels like punching in at work.

I didn't like Legion at all, it was one of my least favorite expansions so far. BfA is something that did try to move on from some of the things I disliked most in Legion, but it never went far enough, and in the end it feels like a Legion 2.0. I especially resent the pruned classes that bore me to tears, the scaling systems that are so opaque nobody understands how exactly they work, the

As far as I remember, people were also spending most of the time being worried about the bad elements of Legion before its release. Look up any pre-Legion video talking about legendaries and see for yourself.

Not really the worst, but it's just a really meh expansion. The story is comically bad, Sylvanas being a comic book villain while alliance turning back into lawful stupid. Also the main features of the expansion (island expeditions and warfronts) pretty much failed, they are dull and boring.

Length-wise there really isn't much difference between Legion and BfA. Same dungeon sizes and takes roughly the same amount of time. I'd say the crowd control is there as it's always been. In Legion it was more AoE focused, whereas in BfA it's more focused on crowd controlling single mobs.

BFA - it's really not that bad. - Page 2

I know, a heretical opinion these days. So, some background - I've been playing since 2004, raided extensively until 2009 and since have mostly been what's usually called "casual", though with a lot of hours played. I have 8 120s and at least that many 110s baking in the oven. I'm mostly on the PvE side of things. Let's start with the negatives of BFA. My main Alliance is a shadow priest and

The only thing wod had was good raids. I think bfa had many problems but I really liked bfa towards the end, corruptions after the vender was added as super fun to play. Bfa dungeons were great (except tol dagor), raids were pretty good, classes were ok, the daily and weekly grinds weren't as bad as shadowlands.

I keep seeing people saying that BFA is the worst expansion ever… but is it truely worse than WOD? BFA seems waaaaay better than WOD was. I mean I still remember when a selfie cam and twitter integration was a patch's content. Is BFA really that bad for people? Or are people just complaining to complain?

The biggest fault of BFA, something even hardcore fan would concede is that class design and gameplay are in a really bad place. For some people (like me) it completely killed any enjoyment in this expansion, for other who are still subs, it's okay. Only you can tell. Writing and story is not in a great place either for the main campaign.

Absolutely terrible rng gearing system for PvP as well as a unbalanced classes. (looking at you DH's) Monotonous and grindy world quest system that lacks much variety aside from a select few factions. (Tortollans) I could name more, but this is just a taste of why BfA is generally considered bad. 18 Likes.

BFAs are not bad at all; in fact, many people find it to be more appropriate for their particular interests/careers than the BA degree. The primary difference between the two (although the specifics vary from college to college) is the proportion of time spent in very focused studio-type classes vs. more general studies.

BFA is a Bad Expansion - General Discussion - World of Warcraft Forums

The list goes on and on. You know what BFA was good at? Music and art. Encounter team did a good job too. The usual points of excellence. But the abandonment of PvP (something which has never been so bad as it is in BFA) really hit this expansion hard. The good points were good, but the bad points were exceptionally bad.
