This game really isn't predatory if you just want to enjoy story. I am able to finish the story in span of 35 days without spending a single dime. The game gives you plenty of resources everyday to make good progress and finish all available content such as tower, afk stage and story.

I have +30 Ulmus and I can say that he is totally worth it. 27-50 right now. I use Ulmus all the time in Chapter 23, his Regen is very strong and heals a lot over a fight. Depends on your tank availability and your current Wilders pool. If you have meta wilders like Eironn and Tasi, ascend them first.
