I've always used Volvo Penta 30wt synthetic in my 2005 5.0 Gxi-E. I see now that Volvo only sells 10w-40 which I assume is a suitable replacemnet for the 30wt. My question is, Is there any reason I couldn't use Mobil 1 10w40 (High Mileage) instead of the Volvo 10w40. I know Mobil 1 is an excellent product for my car but is it ok for my boat.
