This run is the most boring thing in the game but it has access to its most difficult challenges at the very same time. The only requirements are kills, but sparing specific monsters will abort the genocide route. if you're going in completely blind, just know that in "serious" fights, the instant noodles restore 90 hp because you eat them raw, so make sure that you hold on to that. This is where I am at.

Save points outside the Ruins also have a counter indicating how many enemies are left in the area. When doing a Genocide run don't forget killing the dummy and the initial Froggit. You can view a full list of all the enemies you need to kill here. The counter on save points appears only after you kill out the Ruins.

The Ruins. Ruins: 20 kills (Toriel) The boss for ruins is Toriel. Kill 20 monsters, the genocide will start. The save points will say "Determination". If you do that correctly Toriel will be 1 hit kill. Move on to Snowdin and remember NO MERCY. THE RUINS TUTORIAL.

The only way to get this ending is to kill Mettaton early in Genocide, so if you're planning to get all the endings, you might as well finish this run and retry Genocide

Not every monster in the Underground dies in the Genocide Route. We only kill around 100 people. It's not that everyone is dead, it's that through killing everyone you can possibly kill, you eventually reach an ending that Sans dreads and attempts to do something about.
