It approximately takes about 1.5- 2 hours to Blackheath or Katoomba from Sydney Central Station, if you go by train. 6.23, 6.53, 7.23, 8.18, 8.50, & 9.18 am services are better for a weekday trip. However, the 7.23 am express train is the best choice as it reaches Katoomba around 10.32 am.
