If you are thinking of going with a T61 I would go larger on the injectors. That turbo has more than enough to max 440's out. 20 psi should have you around 400rwhp with it. Also go with 3" exhaust. Also I would think the LD28 intake wouldn't have a TB. 71' 240Z L28ET 417 rwhp. 73' 240Z 7MGTE 533rwhp. Like.

The cost so far has been around $4500. That doesn't include the M62 supercharger ($1200), SDS fuel/ignition system ($1200), custom intake/injectors (+$600) , full stainless header/exhaust ($1400), ad nauseam. I'm not done yet so the final numbers aren't in. Looking back, I would seriously consider a LS1.

4583 posts · Joined 2002. #4 · Dec 13, 2006. Bolting a P90 or P79 head on a L24 block will lower the compression to about stock turbo cr. (7.4:1). If you use the N42 or N47 head then compression will be a little high for a turbo so you will need to limit boost between 7 and 12 depending on the quality of the engine management.
