People controlling funding creating cycles of stupidity, getting rid of people. Now, almost immediately after, we learn BG3 is it for Larian in the world of Dungeons and Dragons. No more Hasbro licensed content. We learned last year, during Hasbro's big layoffs, that they fired basically everyone who worked with Larian.

Hasbro has already sunk all of their cost into making it. Pulling the rug out would be discussed for decades as one of the most bone-headed business decisions of the industry. Trust me, that doesn't mean as much as you'd hope. The real question is if we've gotten any word from the developers confirming that BG3 is safe.

Hasbro, which owns the Dungeons and Dragons franchise through Wizards of the Coast, has big plans for its upcoming D&D video games after the massive success of Larian Studios' Baldur's Gate 3. With more games on the way from Hasbro's internal studios, the company says it's taking a few lessons from what Larian did with Baldur's Gate.

If companies cared about making complete asses of themselves and losing crap tons of money, the entertainment industry would not be in the situation it is now.

The result will be released this year. The trailer looks amazing. It shows a commitment to the approach to game making that made BG3 a success and, if I were to trust anyone other than Larian to make BG4, it would be the team that made BG1 and 2. Here's hoping WOTC can persuade them after the crazy success of BG3.

You can prolly just fly across. enter turn based and just jump across the bridge. I got stuck to. I went to a waypoint. Same problem. No way over the bridge. I still have the "follow the githyanki map" and "find the githyanki creche" options though. It makes me feel like there's another route.

KCD and BG3 are great RPGs, similar to games you already love: Mass Effect trilogy, Witcher series, Dragon Age, etc. Ghost of Tsushima is an open-world action game, like recent Ubisoft games but better and much less bloated. BG3 has the most roleplay freedom and replayability out of the three by far.
