This is assuming "super stiff" refers to lever movement in all planes and not just reverse. Yes, all movements but reverse does seem slightly harder although 1st isn't great. It does feel like the gearstick is stiff rather than the gear selection/clutch if that makes sense. Like it's snagging or tight.
