As for the instruments, here is the distribution of the main instruments for the 10 beats: 3 times guitar melodies where the focal point, 2 beats were built around bells, 2 tracks had synth-based, plucky melodies, and the three remaining beats were carried by a flute, a vocal sample and a pizzicato melody, respectively.

Like before, load your 808 plugin into your DAW and open the piano roll. For more trap beats, the 808 bassline should be kept relatively simple so as to not overcomplicate the beat. Also, it is essential your 808 bassline is in the same key as the rest of your beat. There is nothing worse than an out-of-key 808 bass.

How to make a beat. Here's the simplest way to build beats: Tap out a rhythm or a group of notes. Decide what notes go where (for example, bass drum/snare drum or hi-hat and snare drum). Choose how each note should sound. You can build the beat in a linear or 'stacked' way.

And tbh to make a raw beat takes me like 20 minutes without mixing and "mastering" for youtube. AND if you listen to 808 mafia beats you will see that they make supereasy fast synth melodies and maybe 1 extra synth on top of it. Then you add a simple 808, kick, snare and hihats, crash and maybe some percs thats it.

2. Take the existing melody (plus contributing elements) and either stack them in a higher octave or simply transpose them up 1 or 2 octaves. The creative filtering is implemented in a later step, so remember to make a note stating your future intention, to guarantee you don't mistakenly forget.

I use loops often. While I can make good melodies, they're just time-consuming. Making them from scratch only feels valuable to yourself and your producer friends. Make your own loops if you want. But, you can collab with a talented friend who loves making loops or source them from Splice or something and create beats more efficiently.

https://ledgernote.com/columns/beat-production/beats-boring-heres/
This makes the listener feel the weak beats while anticipating the strong, which creates a sense of driving forward through the song (aka not being boring). To get a sense of this, lay out a loop where you drop the kick on the 1st beat and then hit the snare on the 2 and 4 beats. Now go back in, stretch your view to 8th or 16th notes.

All of these questions have to do with one thing, and one thing only. The production of a song. Taking raw material and producing an audible collection of sound that provides satisfaction to the human being listening to it, usually lasting a few minutes, with hopes that they will love it, play it over and over, become inspired by it and hopefully remember that very moment in their life when

Gladiator and Massive, highly recommended. There's a ton of good VSTs that can make good trap sounds. There's no real distinct VST that's gonna give you "THE metro or Ronny j, etc. sound" but rather a bunch of tools out there that all can achieve the same, or at least a highly similar thing.

However if you're a rapper/producer you'll do the drums first to be able to rap without them later (silencing them from the mix later on) Reply reply. The_Secorian. •. Depends on my mood honestly. For boom nap and lofi stuff I tend toward drums first whereas for trap and drill type stuff I tend toward melodies first.

Ya for sure man actually there is one other channel that does a good job I'll tag. Mostly people are just lazy and make either beat remakes or producer sound tutorials that hardly sound like the song/person and just go for click bait or try to get views from beginners "imamusicmogul" is one that comes to mind to me.
