Anyway on listening to The Magic Whip today, it opens with the Blur sound we're familiar with from the early to mid 90s. Coxons guitar was and is an extremely important part of the band and the music they make. It's almost like a lost Blur album from 1996! It's mature Blur, there are no tricks or fancy impressionistic gimmicks.
