Sometimes late at night I join NA lobbies. If I'm lucky and it is east coast I can get around 90-110 ping which is sometimes better than some of the NA players in the lobby. West coast is around 150-250 ping and is a bit harder to play. Also in NA lobbies people actually chat in mumble which usually makes for a more friendly atmosphere.

The sniper is one of the most popular classes to play in TF2. Newer players tend to pick sniper over other classes simply because he is what they consider, closest to a generic first person shooter character. But yeah 6s players hate Spy, Pyro, Heavy, and Engineer mains just as much, but because they think the class is easy, not because their players are dicks. I think its less the class and more the players. When it comes to sniper mains, a lot of them can be huge assholes. I personally don't like playing against snipers.
