Thanks man. I just mounted my trolling motor today, seat, etc.. The motor is a Minn Kota Endura 'max' (has digital maximizer) 40 lb/thrust 36" shaft. Will cut the shaft down 12-14" after some testing on the water. Will use this in freshwater lakes, but want an outboard for the ICW. Will be buying a 2.5 hp Suzuki, 2.5 hp Yamaha, or 3.5 hp Tohatsu.
