Forum Rules. I recently picked up a plier type spring bar tool from Cousins to make changing bracelets with SELs easier. It's their version of the Bergeon 6825. However, when the pins are set at an angle (the tool offers the option of setting them straight or at a set angle), the angles on each side are not the same so the pins are not parallel.

For those wondering this is a Bergeon 7825 pair of spring bar tweezers. Most would say "are you insane for spending that much on a friggin spring bar tool?". I'd say, "yeah sure" but if you have a tone of bracelets that you swap in and out of this is a must. Bracelet swap take seconds and and go so smoothly. I can't recommend one

The 6767-F is widely considered one of the best springbar tools. That said, proper use of the tool is still necessary or you will still damage or break tips. Never force anything, and don't try to get away using the fine pointed tool on a watch with really large spring bars, get a second tool designed for the larger sizes.

I'm looking at getting a swiss bar to reduce some of the stress on my shoulders during pressing. It looks like there are three options that may make sense: Swiss bar, angled swiss bar and or a combination (like ETS' American bar).
