Clearly what Stellarium shows is a very, very not reliable version of Venus. I was not able to have such clear and crisp view and I think it is normal. Even with dark skies and low bortle, that looks really too much for that equipment. I think Stellarium render is not so good.

I switched on the deep sky objects and noticed that there seem to be very few galaxies shown. It had M31 and the Triangulum galaxy but not the pinwheel M101 for example.
