Aesthetically it looks great, but I would worry about that UCA clearance for a couple of reasons: (1) rocks stuck in the tread are going to bang on that UCA and possibly round off the nut/bolt, and (2) a flat at high speed could cause the tire to rub very hard against the UCA and cause a lockup situation if the tire were deformed enough to contact the UCA.

San Diego. May 3, 2017. #3. For reference: 295/70R18 (34" Tire) 0.5" from full compression. Based on measurements taken when I tubbed for 34s, the wheel upward travel has a ratio of 2:1. Basically, for every 0.5" of travel between the lower control arm to the bumpstop equates to 1" of upward travel at the wheel.

How to: modify wheel wells for larger tires/Negative offsets

https://5thgenrams.com/community/threads/how-to-modify-wheel-wells-for-larger-tires-negative-offsets.1797/
Spray paint. Heatgun. 2 Zip ties. Cold brew of choice! Begin with finding affected areas, for me it was the Molding on rear of fenders, remove the 8mm bolt and the push in fastener in wheel well. Under the molding there are 2 sliding clips so give the piece a tug outward and should slide right out.

BIGGER tires | Jeep Enthusiast Forums. 34" - Rear fender mod/pinch weld. BIGGER tires. It's been three years since I bought my 2017 WK2, lifted it and put some tires on. Off tail and on trail I've been very happy with it running a set of 275/70 T/A KO2s. No rubbing, just barely clearing the wheel well liner and that pinch weld.

I'm not prepared financially or otherwise for a full lift that might change the ride and steering and require further mods. So far I'm thinking BFG 285/70/17 KO2, Falken Wildpeak M/T LT285/70R17, or maybe even Destinations in LT285/70R17 or LT295/70R17. Reactions: ... 2. The spare tire rubbed on the OEM bumper. This was not expected but with an

2019 Limited with 22" wheels and aftermarket tires?

You're absolutely correct. I was thinking 22"s because that is what I have ordered. I also think that 24"s with a 35" tire is too big without a lift. I haven't another video or pic to compare but that is a pretty big set up without some modifications. Sorry for the confusion.

Oct 28, 2019. #18. My tires are 305/45/22 (32.8" height, 12" width, 5.4" Rim to tread) and do rub a little at full turn in Aero, sometimes they rub in Normal at full turn depending on payload and the bump size. The 275/50/22" (32.8" Height, 10.8" width, 5.4" Rim to tread) are probably the tallest tire you can go with that won't rub at all

TW 32 vs. TW 34 tires | TW200 Forum

On hard pack the 34 theoretically will out perform the 32 with less contact patch. With slight adjustments in air pressures, I doubt you give up any off road capability with the 34. And it wears far greater on the pavement than the old tire. Since the 32 isn't offered anymore it's sort of a mute point anyway. Like.

33's or 34's with 2 inch lift? | Jeep Wrangler Forum

The lift is 2" front and 1" rear and is perfect for 33's. Mine is the coil spacer leveling kit which I've had on for over 2 years now and it has functioned perfectly and I maintain the stock ride I like. It is also inexpensive and frees up money for your wheels and tires. Teraflex leveling kit with 305/70/16 (12" wide 33's)

Max rear wheel size 34 Ford | Hot Rod Forum

Max rear wheel size 34 Ford. Trying to decide on wheels and tires for my 34 project. I currently have some junk yard tires and rims on it. The rear are 15" 235's and the rim has a 4" back space and fit real well. Looks like 245 is about as big as I can go without worring about clearance issues. Planning on going with 18" wheels on rear.
