i reckon you should get ps plus because you'll get access to a LOT of games for a set price and in the long run it'll be cheaper. this suggestion might be unpopular but i think in the beginning don't even worry about trophy hunting, especially since it's a new console. just play whatever games you like and have that organic experience because you'll only get that brand new excited feeling once

Here is my top 3 learnings from 10+ years of trophy hunting: #1 Trophy hunting is a marathon. Not a sprint. Take your time. Quality over quantity. There's shovelware which isn't for beginners and then there's easy indie games which are great for a palette cleanser between long, grindy games.
