Generally in North America, people avoid the L322 using the BMW engines, the 4,4 is rock solid engine, the 5.0 has timing chain issue. However I can't speak with any authority on the engines used in Europe/UK. If I was in the UK and Looking for a 322, I'd go for 2012 with the V8 turbo diesel.
