1 never enough i carry like 3 knives on me 1 on my ltm wingman, a spydie ladybug and 1 on my vicky classic sd. CRKT bivy is close to perfect combo of the two, except for its size as an edc. A stand-alone knife will always be better for most cutting tasks. The blade on a multitool is more of a backup than anything.
