Buff Rein

Many tanks need to be in face smashing distance in order to fight rein. They are the ones where the "insta-kill" or 300 dmg charge make a difference (most other heroes would die overkill anyway). So, no. Rein has a barrier to get closer to the enemy and an easy primary which deals good chunks of dmg anf provide pretty consistent dmg.

That's the whole point. Jump in, get a pick or force the back line to back off, go back to your team. Get healed up, repeat. He's pretty map dependent though. Had a 54 1 game w him on junker town yesterday just cuz of how much nooks and crannies there are he's very hard to kill

If you ask me whats better, the shieldfest disease that is Overwatch 1 or overwatch 2, its still overwatch 2 thats better, but thats just because they added champions that were blatently designed first, and tested last (i.e. they made a champ before thinking of the implications that it would have on the game, see brig, sigma, orisa, ana's bio

One of the most popular answers was "two hammers.". While this is a way to fix Reinhardt's issues, two hammers might overdo it—though it would be awesome to see. You'd have more luck

This is a flaming projectile that Reinhardt tosses in a straight line dealing 100 Damage, travelling at 25m/s, and can pierce multiple enemies. It has a cast time of 0.48 seconds and recovery time of 0.64 seconds. (For reference, Lucio Projectiles travel at 50m/s, and Zen Primary Fire travel at 90 m/s). REINHARDT FIRESTRIKE USAGE.

Insta-kill mechanics are one thing, but boy is it a bitch having to worry about: Witness insta-kill Everything the mini-bosses are doing the little psion-looking fuckers who can pull you out of cover or slow you to a crawl, both of which kill you if it happens at the wrong moment All at once.

This is a new shatter I came up with called the Storm shatter! In Overwatch 2 we know that we can cancel our charges so I thought "Hey, I can exploit this" How to do it: Charge the Reinhardt, once you hit him cancel charge and immediately shatter. If you do it too late he can shield again. Video above for reference ^

Jeremy24Fan • 1 yr. ago. Not being able to block shatters should not be a reason to quit playing rein. Good positioning and shield management will passively prevent big shatters. Actively blocking shatters is a bonus but not a requirement, and definitely isn't a good enough reason for teammates to get tilted over it.

Without good team followup it's kind of a low tier ult now. Not much can be done by Rein himself. Just stun for a second and maybe get a kill or 2 on his own. It used to be way more impactful and allowed Rein to completely change a team fight all by himself. Now if I get shattered I don't even sweat it unless I hear another out pop off.
