Early on November 14, the only original Class 373 Trans-Marche Eurostar train left St Pancras International for Paris Gare Du Nord. It was the first departure on a celebratory day for the company. The set (one of those ordered by Belgian operator SNCB) still retains its original interior, first seen by cross-Channel passengers some 25 years ago.

Class 66 - based on the Class 59. It's an EMD built locomotive, which at the time of the class 59 coming out, was a very new and different look to the British railways. Class 373 Eurostar (very beta) Doesn't have proper doors (just slightly inset where the doors are) or a working pantograph and has rectangles where the bogies are but has working lights. Also one of the carriages is lower than the others and the driving car has a different shade of yellow, but it all works.

The older trains (class 373/e300) have had their 3rd rail facility removed so are now unable to use the classic routes. Also, if a Eurostar was sent off HS1 it would be very difficult to access St Pancras
