Of all the MP style Springer toys available, or on the horizon, Open and Play' Big Spring has got the best helicopter mode in my opinion. Helicopter form is the alt mode that works best for Springer because it is always a more clearly defined body shape. You have the long tail with the fins, the large front pontoons and large rotor blades.

Big Spring is scaled to fit in with official Masterpiece Transformers, and I am thrilled to report that he scales more with MP-9 Rodimus Convoy than the MP-28 Hot Rodimus end of the MP spectrum. This is absolutely my preferred scale for the post-Movie Transformers. It works with MP-22 Ultra Magnus and all of MakeToys' Headmasters and Targetmasters.

Custom Big Spring So, as usual this turned into a bigger project than first planned. Started by swapping the feet, as the rear look much better, and animation model accurate. Dropped the entire top of the helmet and the mohawk by nearly a mm. Makes the helmet look better, as it now looks shorter and wider.
