They/Them is a surprisingly tame psychological horror film streaming on Peacock this week. There are very few jump scares. When the few murders happen, much of the gory bloodshed is off-screen, which is unusual for a Blumhouse production. This horror picture doesn't exactly increase the viewer's anxiety — no armrest will be needed to grab

Germaine, who portrays trans and non-binary camper, Jordan, embraced working with Schofield on They/Them. The performer, who's also non-binary in real life, has noted that the producer made everybody feel seen, safe and supported on the film's set. That commitment helped Germaine in their commitment to their portrayal of Jordan.

I was pretty much raised on horror movies and I love them. Although this won't break my top 20 best horror movies, I thought it was pretty original for the genre and I will not be forgetting this one. It does have re-watch potential for sure. Not super gory, but not every slasher movie has to be, per se. Probably top 10 for slasher movies though.
