4. Jenny's Canyon. Jenny's Canyon is very short, easy, and popular hike in Snow Canyon State Park. There actually isn't even a parking lot for this hike, just a pull-off on the side of the road. This pull-off is very small and only fits about 8 cars, so the area is regularly full.

TRAIL SUMMARY. Though Gila Trail is 15.8 miles round trip, it is well marked making it easy to follow. The trail is usually accessed at the north end of Snow Canyon State Park from the parking lot located before the fee area and heads south to the Beck Hill/Paradise Rim trail junction. From there, the path follows the rim of the plateau to the scenic overlook parking area.

1. Petrified Sand Dunes. The Petrified Dunes hike was the first hike we did in Snow Canyon. And it really set the tone with it's sweeping views and layers of sandstone and lava. We hiked the Hidden Pinyon Trail to get there, as it was closest to our campground. The hike is about 1.2 miles and considered moderate.
