In Indiana, the punishment may be up to 60 days in jail for suspects who refuse to provide either a driver's license or a name, address, and date of birth. In any state, you may rely on your right to refuse to answer police questions, although you may have to call your criminal attorney to get recognition of your legal rights. Related Resources:

The deputy arrested Wingate for violating a county ordinance making it a crime to refuse a deputy's request for identification "if the surrounding circumstances are such as to indicate to a reasonable man that the public safety requires such identification.". The prosecutor conceded the arrest was "possibly unconstitutional" and

Refuse a search. Georgians can refuse to allow police to search their person, property or vehicle. Make sure to say, "I do not consent to a search.". Do not argue. Police can lie during these stops. They may say offensive, provocative or inflammatory things to get a response from their suspects.

However, the Buick Regal GS is the embodiment of a fast, invisible car. On sale in its most recent (and fastest) form since the 2012 model year, the Regal GS touts an impressive 270 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque — which it squeezed out of a tiny 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine. And for a little while, you could only get it with a 6-speed

If the property owner asked the police to leave they would have to meet a higher statutory threshold to legally remain and pursue their investigation. In practice, however, they may do whatever they want. Publicized incidents suggest that the best chance you have of ensuring your rights are protected in a police confrontation are to:

9/10 cops these days are boot licking smooth brained pigs. If theyre doing anything illegal its ALWAYS looked over during their cute "internal investigations" they dont have a genuine concern for you or others well being aside from their commission from extra stops / tickets.

Realized it was probably cops in the other lane. Found a couple guys sitting that wasn't on Waze. Doesn't do any good once the cop is already behind you though besides letting you know you should probably start slowing down and pulling over, but I think that is with any detector. Never had any experience with used with laser.

Sixth Judicial District Court of Nevada, the Supreme Court upheld state laws requiring citizens to reveal their identity when officers have reasonable suspicion to believe criminal activity may be taking place. Commonly known as "stop-and-identify" statutes, these laws permit police to arrest criminal suspects who refuse to identify themselves.

I am not a lawyer. I just watch a lot of Police Audit videos on YouTube (Audit the Audit is a must subscribe channel) and have taken notes. Know your rights! I drive through Ca with my illegal tint all the time (Oregon to San Diego) and have never been pulled over. If you're doing other other illegal things (speeding, no turn signals, etc) you are much more likely to get pulled over and have the tint brought up. But being pulled over for the tint alone is unlikely.

a 70% tint, unless it's bubbling or something, is essentially unnoticeable unless you get a meter. even if you get pulled over, unless they've already got their meter out (e.g. you have more obviously illegal tint elsewhere) they're probably not gonna bother checking it. a 50% tint will be noticeable.
