Basically for these, you have to be near the car (about 10-25 feet away) to hear the exhaust. Also they tend to have a high/medium pitched note, not super deep. They also aren't too loud as I said. I've spent hours and hours looking at youtube vids/reading threads, but I can't come up with the right axleback to buy.

All I did to the stock exhaust system was a resonator delete and installed a 3" front pipe and its perfect for my liking, small gurgles, no drone, not too loud yet sounds great. I had once read on a couple civic x posts that if stock was 1/10 loud then a resonator delete would be 3/10 loud, with this scale I would give the final product 4.5/10.

Skunk2 exhaust, prl cai, sk2 catless and my car is insanely loud. Silencer cuts the noise by 50% though.but like everyone says. Flashpro is a must so factor that into the cost of the exhaust.

Yeh if u don't want it to loud but sportier sounding u can get a local garage who fits exhaust to make u a twin pipe back box but don't remove middle silencer as will be a lot louder then they can remove fake triangles n put tail pipes in. I had it done to mine but I wanted it louder so removed

My friend got 2014 Honda Civic. I tested his car and his car does not sound like mine. You can hardly listen any noise from his car exhaust where as mine is too loud as if something is broken inside. ATL Si. If you pair an almost unmuffled exhaust (i.e. skunk2, tsudo) to a Skunk2 header, it will be very deep, but there is a good amount of 'header rasp.'. Also, the Skunk2 header, the Go Power 575 and any custom header with 1-2 & 3-4 primary pairings are the deepest sounding headers out there IMO.

If a person can hear the noise 50 feet or more from a property line, it counts as a violation. Im willing to bet the Tomei Type D or the Extreme will be the loudest since they have literally nothing in the piping for sound deadening. And then AWE Track and MAPerformance Race exhaust are probably up there as well. I currently have the MAP Race with the RV6 catted downpipe and its fairly loud.
