Sweatpants-one-boot Spidey is one of my top 5 favourite figures. That being said, the Sentinel Spiderverse figures are all superior to MAFEX. They feel, articulate and look so much better. And I say this as a major MAFEX stan. Hoping the Mafex Gwen head can somewhat pop on the Sentinel body.

Alternatively, the Sentinel comes with an awesome gargoyle base and an alternate torso and crotch piece to have a leaner Spider-Man look. As Spider-Man figures my vote goes to Sentinel for the crouching pose alone. Not to mention how smooth the joints are, the feel of plastic, etc. If you look at my Mafex copy you can see a poor paint job

I love this figure and can say, unabashedly, that this is better than any other Miles Morales figure I have. As you all know, from my previous reviews, I have been very impressed with Sentinel's Into the Spider-Verse figures and everything included, Spider-Gwen carries on that outstanding tradition. APPEARANCE: 9.5/10. Honestly, my only complaint at all about this figure is the bow-legged thigh gap she has due to the design.

The proportions look better on the sentinel from what I'm seeing, and the expressive eyes alt head is better than the MAfex, even if it's just one. Also, if Sentinel can release their figures in a timely fashion, they will be a step above Mafex no matter what the figure looks like lol

The 134th release in the MAFEX line (which just goes to show much of a gap there can be between releases, given that Miles is 107 and Peter is 109), Spider-Gwen comes in packaging that uses the same graphics and colours as the previous Into the Spider-Verse figures.Which is just as well really, because it's hard to imagine them matching the whole aesthetic of the film much better than this.

The Sentinel SV-Action Peter B. Parker is packed to the gills with fun accessories!!! The quickest way to my heart, as a collector, is to add lots of cool stuff to enhance the figure and Sentinel, like Mafex and SHFiguarts knows how to do that! The trade off is that most people want a classic comic spidey, which Mafex is, while sentinel is so specifically styled to the ITSV movies (although I kind of see him as a Humberto Ramos comic spidey too). So if you want the best classic comic spidey, gotta go Mafex. If you want the best 1/12 spidey figure on the market, go sentinel.

I have Sentinel Peter B. Parker and Miles Morales, as well as the Mafex 185 Spider-Man. The Sentinel figures (especially Peter) feel infinitely more durable than 99% of figures out there. You don't get that fragile import feel from them like a lot of Mafex and SHF figures, and I've had zero joint issues and I pose them constantly.
