In any case, I got a MK50 ii from a bloke in NI about three years ago for £1250 (without the FS). And I thought, based on what I'd seen, that was reasonable. I think you'd be doing well to get one with the FS for under £1500. The ii is a superb amp, the clean channel really is worth the extra for me.

Not a super high gain Diezel monster but what it can do it ,it does in spades. Goes beyond the AC/DC Southern rock gain. Liquid and fast (if that makes sense). The EQ's can take it anywhere you want. Someone had said they heard these are Soldano SLO top end'y. NOPE. First amp I really like with the Middle cranked up, but it sounds good anywhere

Cornford MK50 H Amp is in great shape with just a few minor tolex flaws. I've been blessed to have owned more boutique amplifiers than most folks, and the Cornford MK50 is without question one of my very favorites. The MK50II not only has the tone (for me anyway!) but also has features that make it a very appealing amp for gigging.

The MK50 and MKII use a .0047uf coupling vs .0022uf in the RK100. The higher value lends to increased top-end early in the preamp. Try a .0022uf, and see what you think? If you mess with the tone-stack, it's going to effect the entire EQ line. The JJ long plate 12AX7 valves sound excellent in a Cornford. Try a 5751 in the PI.
