I'm getting 4 solid channels out of it. Tonally, the two gain knobs work together and both bring different tonal flavors. Audible bliss, a motivating amp to hear, to transcribe your voice as a musician to one of the most rewarding and signature sounding amps in the history of amps.

Cornford MK50H MKII Demo Review - Guitar Planet Magazine

The crunch is fantastic, it's good enough for lead, it sings beautifully and sustains really nicely. The tone would keep any blues or rock player happy! The lead channel is monstrous, it's silky, smooth, fat, and with a little tweaking of the knobs you can get a great metal tone too. I must make you aware that this amp has more gain than

Hey guys, I need an amp and have been considering Cornford based off of what I have heard. The MK50 looks like it might be the best option for me. I live in Japan where these are not easy to find. I was originally interested in the RK100 but the MK50 being 50 watts looks like the better

New Cornford MK50 ii! | The Les Paul Forum

Following at least a year of GAS for thia amp and much dithering, pondering, deciding and attempting to 'make do' through various pedal aquisitions, last week I finally took the plunge and bought a new Cornford MK50 ii! I was working from home when it arrived on Thursday and I took a little

In any case, I got a MK50 ii from a bloke in NI about three years ago for £1250 (without the FS). And I thought, based on what I'd seen, that was reasonable. I think you'd be doing well to get one with the FS for under £1500. The ii is a superb amp, the clean channel really is worth the extra for me.

Not a super high gain Diezel monster but what it can do it ,it does in spades. Goes beyond the AC/DC Southern rock gain. Liquid and fast (if that makes sense). The EQ's can take it anywhere you want. Someone had said they heard these are Soldano SLO top end'y. NOPE. First amp I really like with the Middle cranked up, but it sounds good anywhere

CORNFED M50 (Cornford MK50 II), what an amp model!

Probably perfect for guys who primarily. use Teles and Strats, though. I can see that. I use a P90. But, my guitar also has a bass-cut control. So far, I have three tricks for managing bass in an amp model. 1) Xfmr Low Freq (Speaker, Amp Block) - lower values increases the virtual Induction of the OT.

Cornford MK50 H Amp is in great shape with just a few minor tolex flaws. I've been blessed to have owned more boutique amplifiers than most folks, and the Cornford MK50 is without question one of my very favorites. This is an earlier model which IMHO is the best sounding version (and I've had them side by side to A/B) Killer Hot Rodded

The MK50II not only has the tone (for me anyway!) but also has features that make it a very appealing amp for gigging.

Anyone got one/had one/played one? What do ya reckon? One's came up for sale locally and I'm thinking about going for it - I play stuff like Robin Trower, Groundhogs, to Deep Purple, to Monster Magnet...but basically I like stuff to sound 'not too modern'. Guessing this will be nice though, think

Hi Gear Page! My first post. Yay! I found you guys after buying Joe Satriani's Cornford 4X12 from one of your members (nice guy and a great deal...Thanks Mark!). Anyhoo, I briefly owned an MK50h and really dug it. However, the lack of a true clean channel was a little inconvenient and I also

The MK50 and MKII use a .0047uf coupling vs .0022uf in the RK100. The higher value lends to increased top-end early in the preamp. Try a .0022uf, and see what you think? If you mess with the tone-stack, it's going to effect the entire EQ line. The JJ long plate 12AX7 valves sound excellent in a Cornford. Try a 5751 in the PI.
