The album moves fast, even at 17 songs it feels like we're still getting to know Rosenstock. The last five tracks are all almost under two minutes (as punk should be). While Rosenstock is open about many events in his life (good and bad), the influences are spotty in the lyrics at times; mysterious. Even "HELLLLHOOOOLE" brings comedy and

Jeff said it best honestly, love is worry. Love is WORRY. With WORRY., Jeff pretty much broke me into a new man. He instilled a sense of doubt in myself that I couldn't have needed more. WORRY. is a shocking revelation that life is temporary and it's not all fun and games, but that's okay. We all have demons, but sometimes we can't see

At the same time, WORRY. feels like the true start of Rosenstock's solo career, with a backing band that is finally locked in, a record label 100 percent behind him, and a tower of critical accolades growing taller each day. Former Bomb the Music Industry! front man's solo record is catchy, energetic, and full of hopelessness and doom.

Album Rating: 4.0 I feel like the word choice can be strengthened a bit in parts like the whole "protesting the closing of a D.I.Y venue by big companies" or "sugary synths complementing a melody" are a bit too on the nose imo but overall the life behind this album is portrayed beautifully . ianblxdsoe July 17th 2017

So I've mentioned a number of times throughout the three years I've done this series that I'm not the biggest fan of nihilistic artwork - not because I find the themes morally repugnant so much as they just get tedious after a while. You can wallow in your own depravity and debauched hedonism all yo

Jeff Rosenstock 'Worry' - Review 8 Jan 'Worry' is technically the third solo album from Punk guru Jeff Rosenstock, but numbers and names are somewhat misleading when it comes to this particularly independent artist. IIRC it's taken from Jeff's wedding photos. I believe it's just a picture taken from Jeff's wedding. From what I understand the band thought it made for good album art, I don't believe there's much significance beyond that. I think man on the cover is Casey Lee, friend/bandmate of Chris Farren. Here's Jeff's answer from his AMA
