U-Play is an extra unwanted step, but I've never had a problem with it. Gameplay and mission variety aren't quite as deep as Far Cry 3. They simplify the upgrade system, powers and side missions to fit into the shorter game, but it seems well thought out and it works. The humor and the way it spoofs all things 80's really make it worth it.
