City. I feel bad putting it so far behind, the gameplay is my favourite (fo rsome reason I hate Knight's combat and predator feels too overwhelming, you have way too many gadgets). Never played origins but I watched the BAV gameplay video + cold cold heart fully. I don't really like that it wasn't made by rocksteady for some reason.

Return to Arkham is just the first two games in a bundle. I haven't played the mobile games, VR, and Blackgate. I have played Arkham Origins before, but it's been a whole decade since the last time I played it. Arkham VR, the only VR headset I have is a Quest 2 and I don't think I can play it on that unfortunately.

I've never played the Batman games, except for a demo for Arkham Asylum which I thought was good. I don't have a ps3/360 so I can't play the previous games. I also haven't seen any of the movies. Will I be screwed if I want to get Arkham Knight? I plan on watching the movies - Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, and Dark Knight Returns.

Arkham Origins is a prequel to the first Arkham Asylum and features Batman early in his career. Taking place on the snowy and deserted streets of Gotham on Christmas Eve, Batman needs to stop criminals like Joker, Bane, and Deathstroke. Arkham Origins has a bigger world for you to explore than the first Arkham game, which would make playing

What's bad about Arkham Origins: The combat is a pale imitation of the Rocksteady Arkham games and Origins suffers greatly from constant bugs and glitches, even worse than Arkham Knight in its present state. Combat isn't a "pale imitation" of the Rocksteady games. It's the same combat. WB Montreal had to recreate the code iirc, but their

You really needed to play the others to fully understand. I would say that in order to feel the full impact of the finale you need to play at least the first two. Storywise, you can jump right in. But if you want to feel the full force of a conclusion, it would be better to play Arkham Asylum and City first.

Also Prequels can contain spoilers. Play them in alphabetical order. Play the Lego Games in 1 2 3 order then Asylum, City, Origins and Knight. If you want it more chronological than Origins first but you get most out of it by playing Asylum first. Nah, it was a mistake that Dick was 2's Robin.

Batman: Arkham Asylum. This game is pretty bad. BaldwinIV 3 months ago #1. Graphics and voice acting are fine, but the gameplay is clunky, the bosses are dull, and the fact they throw in endless hordes of enemies when fighting a boss shows the game developers got lazy. Drakenero 3 months ago #2.

In simple words, Forget Arkham Knight Without the Batmobile. Talking about the basic game, without mods. But you can do a loads of stuff without the tank. If you're interested in random things and dont want the satisfaction of objective completion.

Released in 2004, Half-Life 2 set the benchmark for storytelling and physics in FPS games. It looks like a quintessential game from the 2000s, which I don't particularly see as a bad thing.

The Arkham Collection (the first two games) are often dirt cheap on sale. It's an excellent three part story and you are definitely recommended to play them all. You can skip Origins. It's not a bad game but it's not as good as the first two. Plus you can only buy Origins on PC as they delisted it from Xbox.

Man it's so bad that Arkham Knight forces the Batmobile on you. I'm fine with using it for traversal, and the chases are fun, but doing puzzles with THE POWER WINCH is just tiresome. It kills the flow of the game. Nevertheless, it's a 100% Batman experience. It's so hard going back to the other games after playing Knight.

I've been playing quest since the Quest 2 came out and picked up the Quest 3 at launch, so Ive never played a VR game as bad as Arkham VR (2016). People don't realize that Batman VR was a 2016 lore filled tech demo. This is not the case with 2024 (8 years later) Batman Arkham: Shadow.
